Havre de paix pour réfléchir sur les étoiles d’une vie… la mienne

Many of the pages of this site are just the product of a conversation with myself. Reflexions, jottings, interesting snips from my life. I could pretentiously call it « an informal mind dump ». Much of the content is also a record of my work over the years including articles written for the ‘go-Ariane‘ website. (Many of these articles have still to be ‘resurrected’ from CD archives, a hard task ahead!).
It is a hodge-podge of personal and professional material which I have gathered together. The formatting is done with the WordPress open source software now in its 3.0x multisite mode, which allows me to indulge in a bit of coding and logical brain-teasing. A rare number of posts are protected and only available on request on a case-to-case basis. An anachronism, one might think on a public website. However, these jottings, records, reflexions – most concerning my professional activities – will eventually be freely available, when there’s prescription. When it no longer appears as though I might be biting the hands that feed me – or when I fling my self-imposed discretion overboard. Until then, you will have to wait! Despite the spring 2010 update with the WordPress 3.0x multi-site mode (which hives off certain categories such as the main portal, cats, professional go-Ariane etc.) the original database had the following categories and many of them remain: au-trescols (our home, haven of peace), cats, family, spacework (professional stuff), go-Ariane (repository for former site and for reflections and jottings about space, science etc.), various (general doesn’t-fit-any-category-stuff), computing, gallery (all picture, photo and morewidely arty stuff), newsclips (agency copy, webstories), radio (everything concerning broadcasting, recent and old like my former days behind the mike), reflexions (aaaah, I did spend four years doing philosophy!), wordpress and français (all posts in French).

Beaucoup de ces pages ne sont que le résultat d’une conversation avec moi-même. Des reflexions, notes, des extraits de ma vie. Je pourrais utiliser une expression pompeuse, « une aspiration cérébrale ». Beaucoup du contenu reflète mon travail au fil des ans, avec des articles écrits pour le site ‘go-Ariane‘.
Si la mis-à-jour sépare certains thèmes (portail, chats, go-Ariane, professionnel etc.) la base de données d’origine était agencée avec les catégories suivantes et plusieurs demeurent: au-trescols (notre havre de paix, la maison), chats, famille, spacework (travail), go-Ariane (archives de l’ancien site), divers (fourre-tout), informatique, galerie (toutes les photos et images), newsclips (dépèches d’agence etc.), radio (mes années de radio!), réflections (ah, oui j’ai passé quatre années à faire de la philo!), wordpress et français. Un certain nombre de posts sont protégés et ne sont consultables qu’avec un code d’accès. Un anachonisme, pourrait-on penser, pour un site ouvert au public. Cependant certaines pages sont trop personnelles ou, plus souvent, sont des narrations d’épisodes professionnels et tant qu’il n’y a pas prescription (!) pourraient heurter ceux avec qui je travaille. Le Trescols, ou au-trescols, est le hameau à la limite Villeneuvoise de la commune de Hautefage-la-Tour en Lot et Garonne. (Il parait qu’il y a un autre Trescols, un quartier de la Grand-Combe, à 15 km d’Alès dans le Gard). |
